How do you like your coffee? Black? With cream and sugar? Hot? Iced?
I am a fan of cold brew with cream and some vanilla syrup. And caramel macchiatos. And hot French vanilla cappuccinos. And don’t get me started on Starbucks’ Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew…
My husband likes it black. Or an iced Americano. Nothing fancy.

While I’d love to be able to go out and buy a delicious coffee every day, that’s just not possible. So instead I created a spot dedicated to making our own coffee at home.
My husband uses our Keurig to brew some coffee almost daily, so I wanted a space that was cute but functional. It has turned into one of my favorite places in my house to decorate!

To create a cute and functional coffee bar in your home, you simply need a few basics listed below.
– Coffee Maker (We have a Keurig)
-Canisters to store coffee and/or k-cups
-Mugs (mine is filled with Rae Dunn, of course)
-A place to store sugar and creamer
-Straws or Spoons

Then, you can have fun decorating the space through the holidays and seasons. I chose to put our coffee bar in a corner in our dining room. I used a $1 garage sale shelf that I painted white and a hand-me-down bar height table. I added all of the basics and it was ready to go!

My coffee bar is one of my favorite spots to switch up decor for various seasons and holidays. It’s so much fun!
Below you can see some of the ways I’ve decorated my coffee bar in the past through the year.

I hope I’ve given you some ideas and inspired you to create a coffee bar in your own home! It doesn’t take many items and it’s useful to have a spot dedicated to brewing coffee!
